Can You Build Muscle On Ozempic?

You can hold nearly all your muscle on Ozempic, and beginners or men returning to training can build some while losing fat. Building large amounts of new muscle in a calorie deficit is hard, so aim to keep what you have. Protein and resistance training make it possible.

Here is the honest version. When you eat in a deficit, your body has less spare energy to build new tissue, so big muscle gains are tough. But holding your existing muscle is very doable, and that alone changes how you look as the fat comes off. This is called recomposition.

If you are new to training or coming back after years away, you have more room to gain. Untrained men often build real muscle while losing fat, because their bodies respond strongly to lifting.

Either way, the recipe is the same. Eat enough protein, train against resistance, and be patient. The home training plan and the protein guide show you how.
